I’ve been marathoning The Vampire Diaries series for this past week, from the pilot of season 1 to season 5 (still working on it though), and it was a really great show there..
Not just because of the OTP (which i have love and annoying with) but the whole vampirism thing is so fantastically describe and really well thought (heads down to the original novel writer L. J. Smith). The first season is a charm, the second is a thrill, the third is a whole new world, the fourth is amazing, and the fifth… Hmm.. Haven’t finished that yet, but so far kind a little bit less of excitement there, but hopefully not.
So I want to challenge my memory lane and doing some quiz to myself ^^ Talking about TVD is always related to supernatural being, and TVD world we have:
1. Vampire – The Original
4. Witches – Powerful witches – The traveller – Original Witches
Did I miss something on the list of supernatural being in TVD?
Since I’m kindergarten I’ve already watched the elementary Nobita with friends.. with his zero grade all over his test papers, and how his over greed toward doraemon’s bizzare tools made the good tools became a disastrous tool of an event..
And when I was elementary, they still accompany my sunday morning.. even when I was already in high school.
Now, I’m already working for years and it quite strange to see my best tv buddies, Nobita and friends are still in elementary!!!! But the truth I still enjoying their movie.. it’s not that weird at all 😄😂 *and sadly it make me realize how old I am! 😣😢
The truth that I’m already growing up way more than Nobita.. I feel cheated watching the movie.. How come Nobita plays with faith.. while in the first time it was mentioned that Jaiko is his future wife.. and suddenly the movie turns to the quest on making Shizuka chan as his wife!! Shouldn’t the moment when his grand-grandson coming will be interupted also?
He wouldn’t be there offering Doraemon as help if Nobita isn’t married his grand-grandmother??
Ahahahaha.. Maybe, I’m over thinking in watching Doraemon!! Overall it’s a good movie.. I feel young again!!!
I can offer you my life, but it is a short life; I can offer you my heart, though I have no idea how many more beats it shall sustain. But I love you enough to hope that you will not care that I am being selfish in trying to make the rest of my life—whatever its length—happy, by spending it with you….
Jem Carstairs proposal to Tessa Gray from The Infernal Devices – Clockwork Princess
I love everyone’s acting this drama. It is like each of them believes they are the characters…Cha Soo breaking down was so heart breaking for me to watch. I did not expect to cry but I automatically started cry watching him.
I am not entirely clear why Cha Ok keeps harping on ‘prove me wrong…
Ok so according to previews maybe they sleep together. Who’s with me on this? Cause i think she’s pretending to sleep and dalpo knows it. Cant wait for ep 16
I think PDnim tease us.. From the preview, it seems like Dalpo will only get the chance to admire her sleepy face only.. Kekekkeke..
So I managed to finish marathon Empire of Gold (k-drama) and just watched Hobbit in theatre.. I saw similarity in both shows: it’s about man in greed.
The drama itself more dramatic (sure it does, it’s drama!) all about greed there. When the movie, only one the king who had the greed, the other just claims what theirs. Wait???? I think is the same, all claim what they belief are theirs. Aaaaahhh so both drama and movie are same!
The Gold in the movie refers to the exact gold, but in the drama is more about company stocks.
Ahhh.. Now, I type random think again. How can I categorise k-drama and hollywood movie in same category. Anyway, I enjoy both shows ^^
After much analyzing I’ve finally finished my Top 5 list for 2014.
It’s Okay, That’s Love (SBS) starring Gong Hyo Jin and Jo In Sung. This drama will forever be my top 1 drama. No matter other dramas that come and go, this one will forever be my favorite. So much emotion and love from everyone in this drama and the plot is unique and different. The OST ranks high as well in my favorites for 2014.
Pinocchio (SBS) starring Lee Jong Suk and Park Shin Hye. This drama hasn’t ended yet, but unless they pull a Bride of the Century twist at the end, this drama is promising me a good ending. The plot is also very well executed and a secret… anything with Park Shin Hye will score my top list 😀
Doctor Stranger (SBS) starring Lee Jong Suk and Jin Se Yeon. This drama had me hooked in from the first episode. The plot was really good. The only thing that notched it to number 3 was too much twists and agony.
Hotel King (MBC) starring Lee Dong Wook and Lee Dae Hee. This drama was such a melodramatic mess that I just couldn’t stop watching. It was good. It was sooooo melodramatic, but it was really well executed and the fact that all the cast did a good job in their roles took this drama to my number 4 spot.
My Love From Another Star (SBS) is the romantic fluff I needed. It stars Gianna Jun and Kim Soo Hyun. Even though this drama aired in 2013, the drama came to an end in 2014. It was super cute and had a lot of kissing scenes.
If you’re wondering. The worst K-drama for 2014 – Bride of the Century.
I’d like to give honorable mentions to the Mini Drama Mimi (Mnet). It was a good short story that had me crying and Pride and Prejudice(MBC) for having a good and suspense filled plot.
What were you’re favorites?
I watched less drama this year, but i definitely agree with some of your choices.. I LOVE both It’s Okay It’s Love and Pinocchio (this one hasn’t finished yet, but I totally have faith with the writernim, so far so good, I believe she won’t disappointed us).
Other drama that I watched and I consider as GOOD are: 1. MISAENG, it’s about working people with realistic setting and problem, I love it so much, even I recommend it to my trainees, so that they can learn from the main character. 2. THE SECRET HOTEL, only for the 1-6 episodes in the beginning only, it kinda draggy in the middle to the end. They ruined a good show!
